Q. What Items should I have decided before making a floral appointment?
A. Prior to our appointment it is helpful if you have chosen the bridesmaid's dresses/color as these decisions help influence the designing and choices of flowers because the style of gown/flowers are interrelated.
Q. Do I need to know floral names and descriptions before the meeting?
A. Research, such as clippings from magazines, the internet and bridal books, especially if you are unsure of floral names, is helpful in communication of your ideas. I have a portfolio which features my work as well as many reference materials available to assist in your decision making.
Q. What can I expect to be charged for the bouquets, bout.,corsages, etc.?
A. It is difficult to quote an "average cost" for a bouquet, corsage, or total wedding floral bill because of the many variables involved...the types of flowers chosen, the labor involved, the quantity of items. At our initial appointment, I am able to create a floral proposal based on our discussion that gives you a good idea what your ideas will cost.
Q. Is a large down-payment required to secure the date and when is the balance due?
A. Following our initial appointment, after review of the proposal, a $50 deposit secures your date. The balance is due the "weekend" of the wedding..by the Monday following the wedding. Transactions are completed by cash or check only. Payments may be made during the months leading to the wedding and are reflected upon receipt on the bottom of the proposal; updated and mailed to you.
